Kuhl & Grant LLP served as counsel to the development team and the owner in connection with real estate matters and the debt and equity financing for Park Shore Commons Apartments, a 246-unit affordable residential rental housing project for low income and moderate income tenants in Gary, Indiana (the “Project”). The Project is being developed by Millennia Housing Development, Ltd. (“Millennia”). Project financing is being provided by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (“IHCDA”) (Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds), Red Mortgage Capital, LLC (FHA/HUD construction/term loan) and Millennia (IHCDA development funds and IHCDA CDBG-D funds). Equity funding through the syndication of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits is being provided by Great Lakes Capital Fund.
