Kuhl & Grant LLP represented the lender, First Merchants Bank, N.A., in providing a loan in the amount of $4,425,000.00 to Brooks School Self Storage, LLC, as borrower, to acquire real estate and construct a self storage facility in Fishers, Indiana. Kuhl & Grant prepared transaction documents and managed all aspects of due diligence and closing on behalf of First Merchants.

Kuhl & Grant LLP served as counsel to the development team and the owner in connection with the acquisition, development, rehabilitation and debt and equity financing for three (3) affordable residential rental housing projects containing a total of 89 units located in Greene County, Indiana. The project is being developed by Biggs TC Development, LLC. Project financing is being provided by the United States Department of Agriculture, Farmers Home Administration/Rural Development (assumption of existing USDA loans) and Tower Bank (construction/term loan). Equity funding through the syndication of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits was provided by WNC & Associates, Inc.

Kuhl & Grant LLP served as counsel to the development team and the owner in connection with real estate matters and the debt and equity financing for Englewood Lofts, a 24-unit affordable residential rental housing complex for low-income and moderate-income tenants in Indianapolis, Indiana (the “Project”). The Project is being developed by Housing Directions, LLC, an affiliate of Englewood Development Company, Inc. Project financing is being provided by The Huntington National Bank (construction/term loan). Equity funding through the syndication of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits is being provided by NEF Assignment Corporation.
